Police officers investigating a serious assault in Winchester have charged a man.
Policee were called at 7.12am yesterday, 9 September, to reports of a serious assault at an address on Andover Road in Winchester.
On arrival, a 37-year-old man was located with stab wounds.
He has been taken to hospital to be treated for his injuries which are described as serious and life-changing.
Long Fei Zheng, 49, of Vernham Road in Winchester, has been charged with wounding with intent.
He has been remanded in custody and will appear before Basingstoke Magistrates Court tomorrow, 11 September.
