A man has been charged in connection with a child sexual offence
Michael Landymore, of Stanley Gardens, Croydon, was charged today 22 April with arranging or facilitating the commission of a child sexual offence.
The 74-year-old was arrested by specialist officers from the South East Regional Organised Crime Unit (SEROCU) yesterday 21 April after travelling to Southampton.
No children were at risk as part of this operation.
Landymore was remanded in police custody to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court today 22 April where he was further remanded to appear at Southampton Crown Court on 20 May.
