Man Injured After Stanley Knife Held To His Face During Eastleigh Alleyway Robbery
Police are appealing for witnesses, information and CCTV footage after a man was robbed in an alleyway off Magpie Lane in Eastleigh.
The incident happened at approximately 10.45pm on Friday 3 July, when the victim, a man in his 30s, was approached by three men.
One of the men was reportedly carrying a Stanley knife-type blade, which was presented and placed against the victim’s right cheek, causing a minor injury.
During the robbery, the victim’s Puma rucksack was stolen. The bag contained almost £300 in cash, a bank card, headphones and other personal items.
Police say the men they would like to speak to in connection with the incident are described as being of skinny build, approximately 5ft 9ins tall, wearing Sylvester Stallone masks. One of them was also riding a pearlescent-coloured bike.
Officers have been carrying out extensive enquiries since the incident was first reported and are now asking the public to come forward.
They are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time, saw anything suspicious, or has any relevant footage from mobile phones, dash cams, doorbell cameras or CCTV.
