Police appeal to identify man after electric bike stolen from Chandler’s Ford

Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary has released an image of a man officers would like to identify following the theft of an electric bike in Chandler’s Ford.

The appeal relates to an incident at around 4.50pm on Monday 23 March, when a black electric bicycle with ‘Samebike’ written in red was reportedly stolen from a bike rack outside Central on Winchester Road.

The man officers wish to speak to is described as:

– White
– Aged between 40 and 45 years
– Approximately 5ft 8ins tall
– Slim build
– Ginger beard
– Wearing a high-visibility yellow jacket and black work-style trousers
– Walking with a limp

Police believe the man pictured may be able to assist with their investigation and are urging him, or anyone who recognises him, to come forward.
