A sailor who suffered a head injury was brought ashore at Yarmouth Harbour Sunday afternoon where paramedics and Coastguards treated the casualty.
Needles Coastguard Rescue Team was tasked at 14:43 to meet a sailing vessel heading into Yarmouth after reporting having an injured crew member on board.
The Isle of Wight Ambulance Service was also mobilised to the incident, providing initial care to the patient.
