A Sheffield man has today (20 August) been charged with murder following the death of Armend Xhika.
Mardov Dushku, 29, of Shirecliffe Lane, Sheffield is charged with murder following his arrest earlier this morning.
Armend suffered fatal stab wounds in Sheffield on Thursday 13 May 2021, after police received reports of men fighting on Earl Marshal Road in the Burngreave area, before a reported second altercation in the Pitsmoor area of the city.
This charge brings the total number of charges to three, following the charge and remand of Luigi Antonacci, of Scorseby Street, Bradford and Mentor Selmani, 27, of no fixed abode both charged with murder and remanded into custody.
A 21 year-old woman arrested in June 2022 remained released under investigation.
Officers are still keen to hear from anyone who may have information that can help them piece together the circumstances into Armend’s death.
