Two Teenagers Arrested After Number Plates Stolen At Fleet Services

Two teenagers have been arrested after police received reports of number plates being stolen from vehicles at Fleet Services.

Officers were called at around 11.40pm on Wednesday, May 13, and deployed to the scene before carrying out an area search.

An Audi A4 was later located on Minley Road, Blackwater, at around 12.15am this morning.

Police say number plates, a tool case, a power drill and gloves were found inside the vehicle.

A 19-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy, both from Blackwater, were arrested on suspicion of theft from a motor vehicle and going equipped for theft.

They remain in custody while enquiries continue.
