Police are appealing for any witnesses, or anyone with information, to come forward following an assault against a teenager in Fordingbridge town centre
The incidents occurred between 1.30pm and 2.15pm yesterday afternoon (31 May).
It is reported that a 15 year old boy was verbally threatened by a set of benches on Round Hill, just outside of the Salvation Army building by a group of teenagers.
The same boy was allegedly assaulted outside of Tesco Express on Salisbury Street too by the same group of young people.
These incidents occurred between 1.30pm and 2pm.
While he was further assaulted at the Fordingbridge Recreational Ground at around 2.15pm – behind the club house – whereby he was kicked and punched multiple times.
As part of our enquiries, two 16 year old boys from Fordingbridge were arrested on suspicion of assault. They have since been released on conditional bail until Tuesday 28 June.
