A woman who assaulted another woman with a chisel on the Isle of Wight has been convicted
Megan Durham, of Osborne Road in Shanklin, left the 41-year-old victim with injuries to her head and leg during the assault at an address on Atherley Road.
Police were called to the scene at 10.40pm on 22 November 2021 and officers arrested 23-year-old Durham.
Bournemouth Crown Court heard yesterday (Wednesday 27 April) how the victim sustained three stab injuries to her scalp and one to her forehead, before Durham bit her on the thigh.
Durham admitted causing grievous bodily harm without intent at yesterday’s hearing.
She was remanded in custody to appear at the same court on 25 May for sentencing.
